Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Engazly websites, applications, Shopify integrations, onboarding, applications, support, communications, and related product workflows that link to it. It does not govern Shopify, Stripe, or another third-party service, which maintains its own privacy practices.

2. People and organizations covered

We may handle information concerning website visitors, Founding Merchant applicants, merchant owners, administrators, employees, authorized users, Shopify stores, and store operations.

Customer or order-related information is processed only when permitted Shopify data is necessary for an enabled Engazly workflow. Merchants remain responsible for storefront privacy notices, customer relationships, required consents, and instructions about customer data.

3. Information provided directly

Depending on the interaction, we may collect a name, business role, contact details, organization, Shopify store domain, onboarding information, account and authentication details, application or survey responses, support communications, billing contacts, subscription selections, and content intentionally submitted to an enabled workflow.

4. Shopify and merchant operational data

Depending on merchant-authorized permissions and enabled features, we may process store identifiers, catalog and product information, pricing, inventory, orders, refunds, discounts, revenue-related information, store configuration, currency, time zone, and operational metadata.

We seek to limit processing to information reasonably necessary for documented functionality. Shopify controls the availability and form of data supplied through its services.

5. Usage, device, and technical information

We may collect browser, device, IP address, operating-system, language, login, session, page, feature, integration, API, synchronization, error, diagnostic, security, and audit information needed to operate and protect Engazly.

6. Billing and transaction information

Stripe processes current payment-card information. We may receive payment identifiers, billing status, plan, invoice, transaction, refund, dispute, and subscription records. Engazly does not receive full payment-card numbers from Stripe.

7. Derived information and product outputs

Engazly may generate forecasting metrics, revenue signals, performance summaries, classifications, recommendations, optimization outcomes, entitlement states, and analytics derived from merchant data and product activity.

8. Sources of information

Information may come directly from you or another authorized user, the merchant organization you represent, Shopify through merchant-authorized permissions, payment and infrastructure providers, or automatically through use of Engazly.

9. How we use information

We may use information to provide, authenticate, operate, and secure Engazly; maintain approved Shopify workflows; produce enabled forecasts and revenue insights; configure plans, entitlements, and onboarding; process subscriptions and refunds; review Founding Merchant applications; respond to inquiries; diagnose errors; prevent abuse; improve documented features; comply with law; and enforce agreements.

10. AI-assisted processing

Enabled Engazly capabilities may use artificial intelligence or statistical methods to generate forecasts, summaries, recommendations, classifications, or prioritized actions. These outputs support merchant decisions and do not independently make binding business decisions for a merchant.

AI-assisted processing depends on documented availability, permissions, and entitlements. AI Support and Voice Concierge are not currently available for production conversations. We will provide additional notice before introducing materially different personal-information processing for those capabilities.

11. Legal grounds where applicable

Where a law requires a legal basis, we may process information to perform a contract or requested pre-contract steps, for legitimate interests in operating and securing Engazly, to comply with legal obligations, or with consent where consent is required. The basis depends on the information, purpose, relationship, and jurisdiction.

12. How we disclose information

We may disclose information, only as reasonably necessary, to commerce and integration providers such as Shopify; payment providers such as Stripe; cloud, storage, authentication, communications, monitoring, analytics, and security providers; professional advisers; authorities when legally required; transaction participants under appropriate protections; and other parties at the merchant’s direction.

13. Cookies and local technologies

Engazly may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, service operation, and diagnostics. Disabling necessary technologies may prevent login or other functionality. Any analytics or optional technologies must be described and controlled in accordance with their production configuration and applicable requirements.

14. Data retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and audit records, resolve disputes, process payments and refunds, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. The period depends on the information, account status, sensitivity, contractual requirements, security needs, and applicable deletion requirements.

Information may be deleted, de-identified, aggregated, or isolated from active systems when no longer required. Backup and security records may persist for a limited period after deletion from active systems, subject to operational and legal requirements.

15. Privacy requests

Depending on location and relationship with Engazly, a person may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or an appeal of a denied request. Applicable rights and exceptions vary.

Submit a privacy request through the secure contact form and label it privacy-related. We may verify identity, authority, store relationship, and jurisdiction. Store customers should normally direct requests to the applicable merchant; where Engazly acts for that merchant, we may refer the request or act on verified merchant instructions.

16. Security

We use administrative, technical, and operational controls designed to protect platform access, integrations, and data workflows. No transmission, storage, or processing method is completely secure. Users remain responsible for protecting credentials, devices, authorized-user access, and information exported from Engazly.

17. International processing

Era Tech Global is a United States company. Information may be processed in the United States and in locations where approved service providers operate. Where required, applicable transfer safeguards must be used. Privacy protections and government-access rules can differ between countries.

18. Marketing communications

Optional marketing messages will include an available unsubscribe method where required. Transactional, account, security, billing, and service communications may continue when necessary.

19. Children

Engazly is a business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly request children to create merchant accounts. Use the secure contact form if you believe a child provided information directly to Engazly.

20. Third-party links and services

Third-party services maintain their own privacy practices. Merchants should review and configure those services appropriately.

21. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy for changes in the service, data practices, providers, or legal requirements. The revised Policy will identify its update date, and additional notice will be provided for material changes where required.
